Location: Alpharetta, GA (Remote after training period)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Training:  In-Office then Remote

Hancock Claims Consultants is looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to help manage business customer accounts, reduce delinquent balances, and build positive customer relationships. What You'll Do

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of business customer accounts.
  • Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due balances.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate collection notes, payment agreements, and account records.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and help reduce delinquent balances.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues.
  • Meet collection goals while providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of Business-to-Business (B2B), 1st Party Collections experience
  • Knowledge of billing and collections procedures
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Accounts Receivable experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
  • Collection dialer experience
