Location: Alpharetta, GA (Remote after training period)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Training: In-Office then Remote

Hancock Claims Consultants is looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to help manage business customer accounts, reduce delinquent balances, and build positive customer relationships. If you're a strong communicator who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Manage an assigned portfolio of business customer accounts.
Contact customers by phone and email regarding past-due balances.
Negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate collection notes, payment agreements, and account records.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and help reduce delinquent balances.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues.
Meet collection goals while providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

1–3 years of Business-to-Business (B2B), 1st Party Collections experience
Knowledge of billing and collections procedures
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
Accounts Receivable experience
Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
Collection dialer experience
